Our Engagement Photos

I thought it was about time I shared our engagement photos with you guys! My friend and bridesmaid, Kristin, took these photos for us and I am obsessed with how they turned out! Drew was such a good sport during this photoshoot, he really got into it with me and I think you can tell in the photos. We chose two outfits–I chose this pink coat because I knew I would like it forever and it’s something that is very “me.” I also wanted to choose looks that would mesh well with our home decor, since I will be framing these and hanging some on the wall.

We took all of our engagement photos at my parents house. The ones with the greenery were taken in the backyard, and the others were taken on the front porch where we got engaged. Check out our engagement story here!

We had to get some photos with our fur babies! We ended up getting two good ones, and it was definitely a struggle to get them to sit still for those. Also, Julep constantly has RBF–she is so over taking pictures with me!

This photo is one of my favs. Kristin had Drew pick me up and spin me around and we got some really fun shots! You will probably end up loving the candids even more than the staged photos!

Our second look had more of a summertime vibe. Since we are getting married in Florida, I wanted the photo for our save the dates to reflect that. I wore a two piece set from Peacocks and Pearls in Owensboro, and these tropical heels that are currently on sale! The gold bracelet I have on is especially important to me; it used to be my grandmothers.

We’re riding in my dad’s old MG. I wanted to incorporate him in some way, and I know he would have loved that we used his car. He used to take my mom on dates in this MG, so taking pictures in it was incredibly special.
