July Ulta Sale

It’s the season for summer sales! I’ve rounded up my favorite must haves from the July Ulta Sale going on now. If you see something you like, grab it quick, because some things I’ve had my eye on have sadly already sold out.

July Ulta Sale Roundup-High Heels & Happy Hartz

Hair

My T3 curling iron is the best out there–something about the ceramic helps my hair curl better. I use the 1 inch and it’s great for larger loose curls. I also love the hot tools for a less expensive option. Hot Tools products are always a safe bet. I definitely think the T3 curls my hair the best, but Hot Tools is a definite second.

Kenra products are another tried and true favorite of mine. I love their blow dry spray, and my favorite shampoo/conditioner combo of theirs is this color charge shampoo. I can actually tell a difference that my hair stays brighter longer after a highlight, and that’s something all of us blondes need during quarantine!

Dry shampoo is a staple item to have around, as you all know. I always like to throw a mini one in my bag too for after a workout or just when I’m a sweaty betty! Batiste is inexpensive and gets the job done, and they even make specific ones for blondes and brunettes.

Nails

I’ve spent quarantine perfecting the at home manicure, and I’ve taught myself how to do my own shellac! I try to give my nails a rest in between gel nails, and when I do I love using the OPI Infinite Shine polish and I’ve tried the Essie a couple of times too. I like the OPI a bit better but some of the Essie colors are so great! I’ve got my eye on this manicure warming mitt kit so I have an easier time doing my own cuticles.

Face & Skin

These Essence mascaras are always shockingly inexpensive, and especially now that they’re on sale. One thing I have noticed is they do dry out a bit quicker than my higher end mascaras, but they’re so cheap I don’t mind! I like the ones with a bigger brush for fullness, but also the skinnier just to comb through lashes.

The lipgloss I go back to time after time is this Revlon one. I’ve been wearing it for years in shade “addiction,” and literally every time I wear it I have people asking me what color it is! I have a few other shades but that one is the perfect fall color.

I’ve completely quit using face wipes–they started to break me out really bad and I’ve since upped my skincare game, but I have these for those back-up nights when I’m too tired to do the whole shebang. (Mostly when I’ve had too many cocktails and it’s time for bed.) I use Micellar water with a pad in the morning and to take off my eye makeup normally, so these are a better alternative and better for your skin than your average makeup wipe.

Three of my top NYX products are included in the sale. I use the Butter Gloss in the shade “Eclair,” and it’s a great pink to layer over stronger colors or by itself for a touch of color. The glitter glue works great with their eye glitter, and I’ve used it quite a few times for parties! I love that it doesn’t crease and actually sticks to the glitter without feeling tacky. This eyeshadow palette is a good essential palette for everyday wear. It has basic neutrals and a couple shimmery shades that will work on different skin tones.

I can’t believe they have this Butter London Eye Gloss on sale for $6! This is my absolute favorite shimmer shadow of all time. It’s more of a subtle shimmer than a full glitter, and it gives your eyelids a dewy look. I have the shades “Moonshine” and “Frosting” ( I think? That one is sold out.) My fav is moonshine because it’s a deeper taupe and it blends well with other shadows.
