How to Style Short Sleeves With a Scarf

Scarf season is upon us! It’s funny how when I was shooting this look I was burning up and now I’m wrapped in a blanket in my office trying to stay warm. With that being said, I love to style scarves with short sleeves (although it may be a little cold from here on out!) The contrast of a big fluffy scarf when you aren’t completely bundled up from head to toe is such a great look for the fall season, and even for the spring. The bright colors in this make it easy to match, especially for me, since my closet is full of mostly vibrant colors. I’ve also linked some of my other favorite scarves that are out right now below:

I’m working on putting together a separate post for you guys all about the different ways to wear a scarf and tie one, because that seems to be something I get a lot of questions about this time of year. One great thing about scarves is they can really make an outfit look put together, but they’re so simple and versatile. Several different outfits can be created with one scarf, without it really being noticeable that its being worn again.

For this look, I went with simple, so that the scarf is the focal point of the outfit. Jeans and a comfy v-neck t-shirt are always a go-to, and when you add the scarf it really brings it together as an outfit. Heels dress it up just a bit, but boots or Keds would be just as cute.
